City of Perth swimmer, Blair Evans has placed third with a time of 1:58.71 in the Women's 200m Freestyle event at the 2009 Queensland State Championships.

The 2009 Queensland Championships started on Saturday 12^th December and will run through to Friday 18^th December with open swimmers competing from Sunday 13^th till Tuesday 15^th December.

ASAOC's 2010 SunSmart State Age Championships will commence on Friday 18^th December through to the 22^nd December and will see over 420 state age swimmers go head to head in competition. There is sure to be some exciting swims from some of WA's rising swimming superstars aged 13yrs and under right through to 18 years of age.
