The Sunday Times together with The Department of Sport and Recreation are requesting community sport and recreation photographs. ASAOC has registered to do so as it is a fantastic opportunity to promote swimming in Western Australia. The Sunday Times are encouraging grass root/community photographs of swimmers, club/association volunteers and staff.
Requirements
- Camera needs to be set to the highest quality setting possible.
- Photos need to be mid shots or close ups, with faces clearly visible (photos of four or less people are generally best). Some photos can be action shots, however posed photos are preferred.
- Photographs provided need to be digital.
- Send signed visual release forms by close via post, fax, or by scanning and emailing to ASAOC. If people in the photos are under 18, their guardian will need to read, agree and sign the Department of Sport and Recreation visual release form attached.
- Please do not reduce the size of photos and send in separate emails if files are large.
- Please provide the full names of people in the photos from left-right, plus ages of people under 18 if possible.
- When you send through your photographs, please also provide a couple of sentences of information describing the event at which they were taken, any other points of interest about the people in them and a little bit about your club/association.
Please note that ASAOC or The Department of Sport and Recreation has no control over the photos chosen to be published by The Sunday Times.
Start sending your photos now with signed release forms (Sunday Times and Department of Sport and Recreation requirement) to clare@asaoc.org or ASAOC, PO Box 205, Leederville WA 6903.
