The Department of Sport & Recreation invites country sportspeople between 13 and 21 years who have showm potential to reach State or National selection, to excel and achieve potential in their chosen sport/s to apply for a Smarter than Smoking Country Sport Scholarship.

Scholarships are provided for sport development directly associated with the person’s performance eg. support to attend training sessions, state and national team selections, state and national competitions, special coaching sessions etc.

Scholarships are allocated dependent upon local community need as determined by the committee.

South West DSR office – 16 March

Narrogin DSR office – 16

March Great Southern DSR office – 4 March

Wheatbelt DSR office – 16

March Goldfields DSR office – 1 April

Mid West DSR office – 29 April

Gascoyne DSR office – 31 March & 31 August

Pilbara DSR office – 29 April & 30 Sept

Kimberley DSR office – 29 April
