2008 Regional Academy of Sport- Specialist Development Activity
ASAOC conducted a highly successful "Specialist Development Activity" for the 2008 Regional Academy of Sport Athletes at Challenge Stadium on Friday 18th January 2008.

The program was facilitated by Mentor Coach Bernie Mulroy and ASAOC Development Officer Sara Levien.

Athletes nominated two strokes to be filmed underwater by Biomechanist Jay Davies. The footage was displayed on pool deck using the WAIS immediate swimming feedback system. This allowed the Athletes and their Coaches the benefit of instant feedback given by Bernie Mulroy and invited Development Squad Camp Head Coach, Paul Birch.

The 19 Athletes filmed included:

WIN Television were also there to film  the program; and interviewed a couple of lucky swimmers (well done Reece Child and Amy Branson) to report on the evenings news promoting the dedication of ASAOC's Regional swimmers.

ASAOC would like to thank Department Of Sport and Recreation, WAIS, Jay Davies, Bernie Mulroy and Paul Birch for their valuable time and support for the 2008 Regional Academy Sport Program.
