On 7^th November 2009 ASAOC held an Officiating Forum at The Department of Sport and Recreation.  Over 40 Officials were in attendance which included regional officials who travelled some distance to be present.

A big thank you must go to Robyn Arblaster, Kaye Bolger, Greg Wilson, Karin Hazell, Max Gerber, Greg Hodge and Lesley Arrowsmith for their presentations at the forum. Presentations were insightful, informative and very well received by all. ASAOC would also like to thank the Technical Committee for their help in organising a very successful forum.

Many ASAOC Officials have been involved in the sport of swimming for many years and to recognize their long service and commitment to the sport Service Pins were awarded to the following officials:  

30 years - Lesley Arrowsmith, Muriel Jeffersson

25 years - Greg Wilson, Alf Matthews, Peter Anderson

20 years - Ian Arblaster

15 years - Kaye Bolger

10 years - Dot Harris, Jacqui MacNamara, Ryan Arblaster

5 years - Jim Bolger, Marcelle Patterson, Ian Taylor, Jenny Sebbens, Graldine Peel, Stella Carrara, Paulene Duguid.
