On the last weekend of the term two school holidays, the Mandurah Swimming Club held its annual Short Course Swimming Carnival.

Over 200 competitors arrived from 23 West Australian clubs to participate in the annual Kalgoorlie Short Course Carnival.

BUNBURY’S Golden West Dolphins Swimming Club has won the rights to bring the annual Country Pennants to the South West Sports Centre in 2006.

One of Australia’s greatest swimmers - Kieren Perkins, is coming to Kalgoorlie courtesy of Qantas.

The 2005 Alcoa Country Championships were conducted from 21 - 23 January. This year, ASAOC was delighted to welcome new sponsor Alcoa. The meet was the most successful ever with over three hundred swimmers from 35 Country Clubs participating in the three day event.
