The 2007 Development Squad Camp saw forty six athletes put through their paces in a competition performance enhancing training regime designed to further develop and fine tune existing swimming skills.

A strong Western Australian contingent of fifty nine athletes ventured to Melbourne to compete in the 2007 Telstra Australian SC Championships. A world record and many personal bests were smashed by WA athletes throughout this five day meet.

An inter-club based carnival Colour Pennants is designed as a social competition providing competitor interaction and participation. ASAOC is now calling for clubs wishing to particpate in and conduct Colour Pennants in season 2007/2008. DONT MISS OUT!

In our endeavor to maximize club input on the future of Swimming in Western Australia, the Association has designed a "Clubs Forum" aimed to provide a facilitated environment for clubs to discuss agenda topics following the 2007 Annual General Meeting on the 8th of September 2007.

Young Swimmers Thomas Lafferty (9) of Southlake Dolphins and Danielle Chodorowski (10) of Lesmurdie Legends have won their place on a small personalized WAIS tour by hosted by Olympian Eamon Sullivan.

Club members would be aware of the requirement to present audited financials to SWA within 3 months of the end of the clubs financial year as per policy 9.17. Most clubs financial year end at 30 April which means the 3 month period ends today.

Nine year old Hazel Son of Aqua Jets Swimming Club was the stand out young female swimmer of the Hancock FMF State Open and Junior Championships and has been named the Vorgee Swimmer of the Meet.
