The 2006 Hancock FMF State Age SC Championships held from the 2nd - 10th of September proved to be yet another successful swim meet.  In the lead up to a busy summer calendar Athletes were in fine form and are looking ominous for the coming season.

SWA Presidents Announcement
The Board of ASAOC have today accepted the resignation of the President Mr Bruce Havilah effective 15th August 2006.  Mr Havilah has expressed an interest in applying for the position of Executive Director of Amateur Swimming Association Of Canada, and as such believes his resignation is both ethical and in the interests of SWA.

Three WA Multi Disability Swimmers Named in World Championship Squad

Three Talented WA swimmers Katrina Porter (17) of West Coast, Jeremy McClure (19) West Coast and Jeremy Tidy (19) of Arena have been selected in the 22-member Telstra Dolphins squad to the International Paralympic Committee World Swimming Championships being held in Durban, South Africa this December.

Records Crumble at the 2006 Hancock FMF State SC Age Championships

The 2006 Hancock FMF State SC Championships held from the 22 – 30th of July proved to be yet another successful swim meet.  There were some fantastic times clocked, a staggering 31 records broken and of course an enjoyable meet was had by all.
