ANZSLA in association with THE AUSTRALIAN GOVERNMENT STANDING COMMITTEE ON RECREATION & SPORT (SCORS) is presenting free forums around Australia aimed at assisting sports administrators understand legal issues confronting Australian sport and recreation. The forums have been developed in plain English (without legal jargon!) and are designed to provide practical tips and suggestions for minimising legal risks in sport and recreation.

ASAOC held their Annual General Meeting on Thursday 15th October 2009 at the Department of Sport and Recreation.

On Thursday 15th October 2009, ASAOC held their 81st Annual General Meeting which included the induction of two Life Memberships.

Curtin University are currently conducting research on the psycho-social outcomes of youth sport participation in Australia.

The 2009 Development Squad Camp was held in Perth from 26th September to 29th September, 2009 at Challenge Stadium.
