Team WA make up part of the 200 age group swimmers, from all over Australia that will descend on the AIS in Canberra for the inaugural 2009 Australian State Teams Short Course Championships from Saturday 19th to Monday 21st September.

Applications for 2009 / 2010 Colour Pennants are now open. These meets have a long standing history and are a great way for swimmers to achieve official times whilst competing for their club amongst their peers. The Colour Pennants have been a great success in the past and we are hoping clubs will see the benefits of the meets and register their interest this summer.

Forms must be filled out and returned to ASAOC by 5pm Friday 18 September 2009.

Chezz Mentesana (Southlake Dolphins)and Jade Collier (Rockingham Stingrays)have arrived in Taipei (Taiwan) to meet up with their Australian Team member to represent Australia at the 2009 Deaflympic Games.

257 records have been broken at ASAOC’s Hancock Family Medical Foundation State Age Short Course Championships, held across two weekends on 22nd - 23rd and 29th – 30th August 2009 at Challenge Stadium.
