The State Government today announced a revamp of the community infrastructure funding program to ensure more money is spent on a wider range of sport and recreation projects. Funds will be quarantined for non-metropolitan pool upgrades ($750,000) and sustainable initiative projects such as water and energy saving projects ($1million).
