The 2009 World Championship Trials are currently underway.

Rhys Mainstone has made the team for the 2009 FINA World Championships after finishing second in the 10 kilometre event over the weekend.

A presentation evening was held for Open Competitiors on Tuesday February 24th 2009.

Many of ASAOC's members competed in the Rottnest Channel Swim over the weekend.

ASAOC will be supporting Victoria's Bushfire Victims by donating all of the proceeds from the program sales at this weekends Summer Sensation Swim Meet to the Bushfire Appeal.

The full placings from each division of the Club Premierships Competition are attached.

The Club Premiership Competition will be a mandatory competition for all clubs as of the 2009/10 season. Please see the attached memo for more information.

Exciting opportunity to race against Teams from Asia, Africa and surrounding countries

The ASAOC Country Championships were held on Saturday the 10th and Sunday the 11th of January.

Tommaso D'Orsogna, Blair Evans and Rhys Mainstone have all competed in the Junior Pan Pacific Championships that were recently held in Guam.

Rhys Mainstone has been selected for the Junior Pan Pacs Team that will compete in Guam in January.

ASAOC is launching a new initiative known as "Junior Virtual Speedster Meets." These meets will be run consecutively around the State and will give swimmers aged between 8 - 12 the chance to see how they rank against other swimmers around WA. Please see the attached for more information and the application package.
