Memo - SWD Entry Procedures
ASAOC are committed to providing professional swimming meets for its members and in ensuring that SWD athletes are provided equal sporting opportunities. In order to ensure that SWD Classifications are correct for ASAOC meets, changes have been made to SWD entry procedures.

SWD Functional Classification Day
For a SWD swimmer to be eligible to participate in competitive ASAOC and Swimming Australia events, the swimmer must be classified. Functional disability classification (S1 to S10) is for a locomotor disability eg: cerebral palsy, amputee, dysmelia.
