The Melville Swimming Club wishes to advise all clubs that the "Celebrate Melville Swimming Carnival" being held on November 15 at Melville Aquatic Centre, will not allow swimmers to gain official SWA entry times. We welcome swimmers, from all clubs and all levels to participate at the meet, but are concerned that the meet details posted online and in the SWA almanac might give swimmers the impression that entry times can be achieved.
The meet is a SWA sanctioned meet and will be run under competitive, though low pressure, conditions. Times will be recorded and posted to the internet, but will not count as official entry times.
Whilst all swimmers are welcome, this would be an ideal meet for those members of your club that may not regularly compete at qualifying or other meets at Challenge Stadium.
Thank you for your understanding and we hope to see as many swimmers as possible on the day.
